iPhone Digital Magazine Interface
Texterity's Digital Magazine iPhone Interface uses the Safari browser already built in
to every iPhone and iPod touch -- no additional applications, downloads, or other software is required.
The Texterity interface uses a single Safari browser "windows" to operate:
- At the start, you will see a list of magazines available
to read. Simply click on the "cover image" or the name of the magazine to read that magazine.
- Now, the magazine will appear, opening to the cover page.
The "Pages" button that will show all pages as thumbnails. The thumbnail feature replaces the current page with a complete list of all the
pages in the magazine in "thumbnail" form. You can zoom in on the thumbnails, scroll,
and can select any page to view by just clicking on the thumbnail.
- The "Menu" button will bring up a list of options
that will provide additional functionality.
Using the "Menu" options

Search |  |
Find anything in the magazine by typing a search phrase (including "wildcards"). The
search results are displayed showing both the "thumbnail" of the resulting pages,
as well as a text "snippet" with the search terms highlighted. |

Contents |  |
Show the Table of Contents of the magazine, including all sections and articles.
The reader can click on any of the table of contents items to go directly to that
page, which will appear in the "Page" window. |

Share |  |
Share this magazine with a friend by e-mailing the magazine link. The friend will
receive a message showing the magazine cover, an optional message, and a direct
link to the iPhone/iPod touch digital edition. |

Links |  |
Shows the web links that allow you to click on information on a page from the magazine.
This includes any web links in articles or advertisements on a page, or in the entire magazine.

About this Magazine |  |
The "About This Magazine" link will display a description of the magazine, as well as a
link allowing you to subscribe to the magazine. Basic help information on using
the iPhone edition is also provided. |

Other Magazines |  |
The "Home" button returns you to the iPhone Digital Magazine Portal page. At
this point, you can select another magazine to browse just by clicking on its
cover image. |
Turning the Pages
While reading a magazine, you can go to the previous page
by clicking on the "left arrow" on the menu bar at the top of the page.
Advance to the next page by clicking on "right arrow" on the menu bar at the top of the page.
