Frequently Asked Questions about the iPhone and iPod Touch
Q:
Do the iPhone magazines work on the "iPod touch" as well as the "iPhone"?
A:
Yes. The iPod touch works great, and has the same screen size and quality as the iPhone. We are
currently at our Third Release of the system, with full support for both iPhone and iPod touch,
and support for all major features of the digital magazine system.

Q:
Can I read the iPhone editions from my regular web browser?
I tried to access the iPhone edition and I received an error message.
A:
No, the iPhone magazine reader is formatted specifically to the iPhone specifications.
To see samples of digital magazines that can be accessed from any standard browser,
please visit the Texterity Magazine Examples page.
Q:
Does Texterity provide iPhone magazine subscription services?
A:
No, however, each iPhone Magazine has an Information button which will provide a subscription
link directly to the publisher.
Q:
How come the iPhone interface has different features than the standard Texterity digital magazine?
A:
The iPhone has a smaller screen size than a standard "desktop" or "laptop" display. However, its 160 DPI (dots per inch)
screen presents a very high resolution area for viewing. Texterity has created a viewing experience which is more "iPhone-like"
and that leverages the features already built into the iPhone Safari browser. For example, you can use your fingers to
zoom in on pages, and scroll around when viewing your magazine -- something not possible on a regular display.

Q:
Which magazines are currently available as iPhone digital magazine samples?
A:
The magazine editions available from Texterity as free iPhone editions are listed
in the Portal information area.
Q:
I am a publisher and I would like to be involved in the iPhone portal, how do I find out more information?
A:
Please contact Cimarron Buser at +1.508.804.3062 for more information on getting involved with the iPhone program.
Q:
When is the future plan for the iPhone reader program?
A:
We are continuing to add magazines to the portal, and get feedback from customers.
We will be reviewing the Apple SDK to determine the feasibility of an application
based product as well.
