Nicholas A. Pappas
Nick Pappas has been working with early-stage technology companies for over 10 years, advising management teams and boards of directors on market expansion, capital raising and merger and acquisition strategies. Mr. Pappas joined MTDC in 2009 and is responsible for identifying investment opportunities and working closely with MTDC portfolio companies. Mr. Pappas currently manages MTDC's investments in Ntirety, Courion and Clarity.
Prior to joining MTDC, Mr. Pappas was a senior technology investment banker with Oppenheimer & Co., SVB Alliant, and Canaccord Adams (formerly Adams Harkness) both in Silicon Valley and Boston. Mr. Pappas holds an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Richmond.
Gary Frazier
Gary Frazier is currently a Managing Partner of NOBS Capital Ventures, LLC, a private capital venture group; Managing Member of Island Insurance Group, LLC, an independent property and casualty insurance agency located in Vero Beach, Florida; A Member of D.F. Properties, LLC, a private property development company; and, President of The Frazier Group.
Drew Hannah
Drew Hannah is a technology CEO and Director with over 25 years success in building venture-backed businesses. He founded Drew Partners, LLC in 2004 to provide C-level guidance to the leadership of growing companies in diverse industry segments from enterprise software and information services, to life sciences and consumer products.
Drew’s operating experience as President/CEO includes Parker Guitars (manufacturer of musical instruments) and Softbridge (automated software testing for enterprise market) generating revenue growth leading to investor exit by acquisition. Drew held executive marketing and sales positions at Automatic Data Processing (ADP), ASA International, and Cortex Corporation. He served as Director and Treasurer of the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), an early stage venture capital firm.
Drew holds a Master of Management degree in Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Carnegie-Mellon University.
E. Jack Stewart
Jack Stewart is a managing partner at Venture Capital Fund of New England and has been involved in early-stage New England venture capital for over 25 years, first as a partner of Corning Venture Management for over 19 years, followed by his forming Kestrel Venture Management in 1995, and currently as a founding partner of VCFNE IV.
Individually, Mr. Stewart has had an active and successful career with numerous New England-based companies. In addition to his full-time capacity with VCFNE IV, he currently sits on numerous company boards, and is also an active advisor to three other venture capital groups in the Boston area. He serves as treasurer of Thompson Island Outward Bound, also in Boston.
Edward C. Williams, III
Ned Williams is a Partner of Brook Venture Partners and has spent 21 years in private equity investing where he has been responsible for dozens of rounds of financing in both early and expansion stage companies. Ned joined Brook Venture Partners in 1999 as a General Partner and a member of the fund's Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Brook, Ned was a Managing Director at Saturn Asset Management, a Boston-based private equity firm and was involved with all aspects of the firm's investment activities. Earlier in his career he was with Morgan Stanley in New York City where he was involved with over 25 Initial Public Offerings.
Mr. Williams is a member of University of Massachusetts High Tech Executive Council.
