The TextCafe engine is one of Texterity's foundation technologies. This technology has the ability to convert PDF files into components including structured XML and SVG (scalable vector graphics).

TextCafe technology is integrated directly into the Published Web Format (PWF) solution, which means that customers using Texterity's PWF conversion services can choose to convert printed matter, including books, into an instantly accessible document viewable with a web browser. No plug-ins or applications required!

Publishers may use the XML output for search engine optimization, or transform the information into industry-standard formats such as PRISM.
